List of books that I;ve completed along with a small summary of what I learnt/felt by reading it. These are exclusively non CS books.
Animal Farms - George Orwell
- Read it in August 2026
- Small and easy to read, I finally completed a book after a long time
- It’s so relatable to whats happening in thee world. Very entertaining and engaging, didn’t have a single dull moment. I couldn’t put it down and probably finished it in couple of days. Felt really good after reading it. Loved the analogies it presented
Norwegian Wood - Haruki Murakami
- I picked this up on my recent trip to Chennai (September 2026)
- A classic book, has the same mysterious effect that all Murakami books have. This is the first one I actually read, before that I’ve listened to audio book of Kafka on the shore and The wind-up bird chronicle. Compared to them it was an easier read. An emotional one. I finished this in about a week.
- Had some wonderful characters I will remember
– Midori
– Toru Watanbe
– Naoko
– Hatsumi…
