One highlight

A relaxing fortnight. Parents came over, we got out of the city for a week-long stay somewhere quieter, and I took a proper week off work. Low-key, restorative, and exactly what I needed.

Work

Very light — by design. I took a full week off, and for the rest of the time chipped away at a handful of issues that came up on the project, plus some migration work on a backend service. The migration is nice: I’m getting more familiar with the Agora services we use on the backend, which is a useful area to build comfort in.

Fitness

Mixed. I didn’t get to the gym or exercise as much as I’d planned, but spending a week outside the city was its own kind of reset — slower pace, more time outdoors, generally healthier in feel even without the usual routine.

Tech & learning

Good revision on databases — felt like a solid refresh. Now switching gears to algorithms and data structures, with interview prep in mind. Both side projects are doing well: Ludo Khele and Playscrawl are each seeing around five visitors a day, which still feels awesome for small games I built for fun.

What’s next

Consistency. Get back on track with DSA revision so I feel more confident heading into interviews — and because it keeps my mind engaged in a good way. Pick the fitness routine back up too.
